Saben Lee has suddenly become a household name, however, Fenerbahce BEKO is not going to be his next stop after Manisa, at least not now.

As Eurohoops sources confirm, the Turkish powerhouse is not interested anymore in a deal with the player and is examining other options.

However, Maccabi is knocking on his door, even though the situation in Israel is not favorable at the moment for any new addition to be made to any Israeli team.

The talks with Fenerbahce, which started urgently after the injury of Scottie Wilbekin didn’t last long and the club decided to move in another direction. It has to be noted that Lee’s contract includes a fixed EuroLeague out clause.

As for Saben Lee, for the moment he is expected to travel with his team to Belgrade for the upcoming BCL game against FMP.

Lee had a standout debut in the 2024-25 Basketball Champions League with Manisa, posting 36 points, six rebounds, and six assists in a 103 – 97 win at UCAM Murcia. This is the first year in Europe for the 25-year-old player who carries the experience of 134 NBA games from 2021 through the previous season and has already turned a lot of heads.
