Heading to Round 2 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season and Olympiacos hosting Zalgiris in the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Friday, Moustapha Fall practiced without limitations on Wednesday.

Fall, 32, is projected to ramp up activities over the next few days and soon debut in the 2024-25 campaign.

Due to a broken bone in his left foot, the French center was ruled out for the remainder of the 2023-24 season last May. After missing the final stretch of the Playoffs of Greece’s Stoiximan Basket League, undergoing surgery was considered as an option in August. Avoiding an operation and settling with treatment, he has been medically cleared.

Besides Fall recovering from injury, Nikola Milutinov (ankle) is also inching closer to his first appearance in the new campaign for the team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas. Incoming additional options in the paint will certainly strengthen the storied Greek club, projected among the main contenders in the EuroLeague.

Meanwhile, Shaquielle McKissic (illness) was ruled out for practice on Tuesday and is considered questionable to play against Zalgiris. Opening the Regular Season of Europe’s premier club continental competition, the Reds were forced down to 0-1 by Fenerbahce Beko last Friday.

On the opposite end of the Round 2 contest, Tomas Dimsa (shoulder) and Brady Manek (ankle) remain on the injury list for the team located in Kaunas. Coming off a home win over FC Barcelona last Thursday, head coach Andrea Trinchieri is looking for a 2-0 start in SEF.
