Marko Guduric has been ruled out for Round 3 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season.

Fenerbahce Beko added the 29-year-old Serbian swingman to the injury list, before the first double-game week of the 2024-25 edition of Europe’s premier club continental competition.

Guduric suffered a muscle injury during the away game versus Yalovaspor on Saturday. His side prevailed in overtime and improved to 2-0 in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi Regular Season. Besides missing the meeting with his former team in Ulker Sports Arena on Tuesday, he is questionable to play in the bottom end of the two-game week against ALBA Berlin in Uber Arena on Thursday.

The team coached by Lithuanian Sarunas Jasikevicius is already down Scottie Wilbekin (right knee) and Yigit Hamza Mestoglu (right knee). Building on a 2-0 start in the EuroLeague becomes even more complicated with Guduric moving to the sidelines as well.

The Serbian star contributed 6.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per contest, starting in the contests opposite Olympiacos and Anadolu Efes over the last two weeks. At the top of the new season, he added 7.0 points and 3.5 assists per BSL game.

The native of Priboj reunited with Fener before the 2020-21 season. Following 44 appearances in the NBA with the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2019-20 Regular Season, he returned for a second stint with the Istanbul outfit. Over six years, he became a three-time BSL champion and won the Turkiye Kupasi twice.
