Following a brief return to the NBA, Duane Washington Jr. is back with Partizan Mozzart Bet.

The Belgrade outfit completed the necessary paperwork and registered the 24-year-old combo guard on the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague roster.

Heading to the first two-game week of the 2024-25 installment of Europe’s premier club continental competition, the team coached by Zeljko Obradovic is preparing for contests in Belgrade versus FC Bayern Munich in Belgrade Arena on Tuesday and against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in Aleksandar Nikolic Hall on Thursday.

The German-American player recently rejoined Partizan in Madrid. He was in attendance with his side losing to Real Madrid in WiZink Center and falling to 0-2 in the Regular Season. Registered to the squad, he became eligible to play, moving deeper into the schedule. Besides Isaiah Mike (calf), the remaining players are now available for Obradovic.

Last week, Washington was waived by the Charlotte Hornets after logging two appearances in the 2024 NBA Preseason, averaging 6.0 points and 9.5 minutes per contest.

He was previously released by Partizan to facilitate a three-team trade between the Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks, and Hornets. In the process, the EuroLeague outfit was compensated.

A veteran of 79 NBA appearances between the Indiana Pacers and Phoenix Suns, he inked a contract with the Knicks to be shifted to the Hornets as a part of the trade centered on Karl-Anthony Towns. After being placed on waivers, he was indeed expected to sign a new contract with Partizan.
