Shaquielle McKissic ended up being the decisive factor in Olympiacos‘ latest EuroLeague win at home against Milan, scoring 22 points over 4/6 from two, 3/3 from deep, and a perfect 5/5 at the line, joining Sasha Vezenkov as the highest scorer on the team.
Talking to Eurohoops after the game, he praised the Bulgarian forward.
“We went to the Final Four last year, we lost, and as soon as I found out that [Sasha Vezenkov] was coming back, it was like nothing changed. Young players see him in practice. He is my favorite player in the Euroleague. Unfortunately, [Vassilis] Spanoulis has to go to No.2. I’m his biggest fan”, he said.
The American all-arounder warned the EuroLeague concurrency. “Next week it could be [the game for] Tyler Dorsey. Once he finds his rhythm, everything will be more beautiful. I think we’re going to be scary when we have to fight for the season”, he also commented.
