Heading to Round 5 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, Fenerbahce Beko has been cleared to use Skylar Mays.

After signing with the Istanbul outfit last week, the 27-year-old American guard was registered to the EuroLeague roster and is available to play against defending champion Panathinaikos Aktor in Ulker Sports Arena on Friday.

With Sertac Sanli and Scottie Wilbekin remaining on the injury list, Marko Guduric has recovered from a hip injury and resumed team practices over recent days. The Serbian guard is expected to return to action opposite the Greens.

“What we need to do is learn from our mistakes in the Semifinal in Berlin, continue to improve and adapt our new players,” head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius referred to the 2024 EuroLeague Final Four and roster adjustments.

Three players out for Panathinaikos

Several issues on the opposite end of the Round 5 affair as well. After sitting out team practice on Thursday due to illnesses, Ioannis Papapetrou and Konstantinos Mitoglou will not follow their teammates to Turkiye, and Dimitris Moraitis was ruled out with a shoulder injury.

Adding to concerns for head coach Ergin Ataman, Marius Grigonis hurt his back during practice and is considered questionable to play against Fenerbahce.

The remaining players, including Kostas Sloukas after missing a domestic game due to left knee discomfort, are available for the Greek club.

Coming off two consecutive losses in Europe’s premier club continental competition, Panathinaikos was forced down to 2-2. Fener sits at 3-1.
