Panathinaikos Aktor is rolling and LDLC ASVEL couldn’t do much to change that. The final 92-68 score proves that with the Greens getting a 4-2 record and the French side dropping to 2-4.
Lorenzo Brown with 17 points and Kendrick Nunn with 14 led the scoring with Panathinaikos using all 12 players and all ending up registering at least one point.
Juancho Hernangomez had his best game yet with Panathinaikos, scoring 13 points on 100% field goal percentage, five rebounds, and four assists.
“The most important thing is to win and get ready for our next game in Serbia”, said Juancho referring to Friday’s contest against Crvena Zvezda.
Edwin Jackson had 13 points for ASVEL which ended the night with 7/27 threes and 20 rebounds, while Panathinaikos had 41. Simply put, the defending champions simply dominated.
“We played a perfect game, we played great defense and we saved minutes for our main players, so congratulations to our guys for taking the game seriously”, said coach Ergin Ataman.
An easy night
