Over eight games in the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, Kostas Sloukas is the most efficient player in the last five minutes with the difference five or less points.

Sloukas, 34, excelling in crunch time translates into 15 points in seven possessions or 2.14 points per possession and only one turnover, as presented by Clutch Data. Confirming dominating displays for defending EuroLeague champion Panathinaikos Aktor, he made all of his shots.

Yago dos Santos of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet with 1.7 points per possession, Kevin Punter of FC Barcelona with 1.67 points per possession, Nigel Hayes-Davis of Fenerbahce Beko with 1.5 points per possession, and Uros Plavsic of Zvezda with 1.5 points per possession are the remaining top five players.

Heading to Round 9 of the EuroLeague Regular Season, the Greens will host Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in OAKA Altion on Tuesday evening. Despite dealing with a shoulder injury and missing domestic action on Sunday, Sloukas is expected to suit up.

“Grigonis and Antetokounmpo are unavailable, they need more time to recover. But, Sloukas practiced with the team. I am 90% sure he will be ready and play,” noted head coach Ergin Ataman after team practice on Monday.

Combined with getting the job done down the stretch, the four-time EuroLeague champion started his 15th campaign in the league with 7.4 points, 4.1 assists, and 1.6 rebounds per contest.

Besides Marius Grigonis (back) and Kostas Antetokounmpo (knee), the rest of the players are also available for Ataman.
