EuroLeague announced that the final score in the game between ALBA Berlin and Bayern changed to 115-88 in favor of the Bavarian club with ALBA getting two extra points.
Per the press release: “In the Round 10 game between ALBA Berlin and FC Bayern Munich, a scoring error was identified. With 0:02 seconds remaining in the second quarter, and the score at 62-42,
ALBA Berlin’s player, Trevion Williams, successfully scored a two-point basket. However, the table officials did not count the valid basket, resulting in the halftime score being incorrectly recorded.
The correct score at halftime should have been 62-44.
After reviewing the game, Euroleague Basketball acknowledged the error. The correct final score of the game, 115-88 and the individual statistics of Trevion Williams, were corrected and updated on the official Turkish Airlines EuroLeague website to reflect the valid basket”.
