Having almost reached one-third of the 2024-25 EuroLeague Regular Season, this is not news anymore: TJ Shorts and Theo Maledon are displaying basketball on another level for Paris and ASVEL.
Their winning effort in the EuroLeague Round 10 respectively against Barcelona on the road and Crvena Zvezda at home made them co-MVPs of the Round with a joint competition-high 36 PIR.
Paris Basketball’s leader, last year’s BKT EuroCup Regular Season and Finals MVP, led Tiago Splitter’s team to the surprising 103-87 win in Barcelona, putting up 24 points and 9 assists, with 3 steals. He shot 6/10 from two, 1/1 from beyond the arc, and 9/11 at the charity stripe.
The day before, in Astroballe, the French guard had another huge scoring night with 26 points over 4/4 from two, 3/5 from three, and 9/10 at the line. Theo Maledon also had 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
This is their second MVP of the Round Award in this season’s EuroLeague Regular Season, as Theo Maledon got it first in Round 4 and TJ Shorts followed him in Round 5. The former is averaging 17.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists; the latter, instead, is having 17.7 points and 7.5 assists per game.
