Anadolu Efes appointed Gokce Dayi as the General Manager.

The team based in Istanbul announced the successor of Alper Yilmaz on Tuesday.

From CBO & Marketing/Corporate Affairs Manager, Dayi becomes the next GM of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague club. He has working with the Anadolu Group for nearly 20 years, including 12 with the Efes.

Yilmaz, 49, was officially confirmed as the new sports director of the Turkish Basketball Federation, TBF, upon his departure.

Behind a 6-4 start in the Regular Season, the team coached by Tomislav Mijatovic sits eighth in the EuroLeague standings, two games safe in the Play-In Showdown zone and one game away from the top six seeds guaranteeing a direct ticket to the Playoffs. In Round 11 of the 34-game double-legged round-robin schedule, Paris visits Istanbul’s Basketball Development Center on Thursday.

In the 2024-25 installment of the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi, Efes is tied with Fenerbahce Beko at 6-1. The Istanbul rivals follow undefeated Tofas, second on the table.
