Furkan Korkmaz will not compete this week either in the EuroLeague or in the FIBA Windows with Turkey after a fractured coccyx bone

Monaco will have three missing players in the upcoming game against ASVEL.

As the club announced in the preview of the game: “Nick Calathes continues his rehabilitation, Furkan Korkmaz remains unavailable following a fractured coccyx and Mam Jaiteh is recovering from a knee injury”.

The news come from Korkmaz, who has played so far only two EuroLeague games, however he was expected to be available and maybe play for the Turkish national team in the Eurobasket qualifiers on Monday’s game against Hungary.

That’s not the case anymore, making for Monaco things even more complicated after the unexpected decision to part ways with coach Sasa Obradovic.
