Euroleague Basketball announced fines for Kendrick Nunn of Panathinaikos Aktor and Partizan Mozzart Bet.
The latest disciplinary decisions, concerning incidents in Round 9 and Round 10 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, were confirmed on Tuesday.
Per the press release:
Round 9
- Kendrick Nunn, Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens player, has been sanctioned with a fine of €5,000 for comments regarding the officiating performance, in accordance with Article 24.2.c) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
Round 10
- Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade have been sanctioned with a fine amounting of €5,000 for the offensive chants committed by its fans on occasion home game against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan under 29.2.f) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
Nunn, 29, is currently averaging 17.6 points, 3.6 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game over 11 appearances, all starting, at the top of his second campaign in Europe’s premier club continental competition. After lifting the Greens to the EuroLeague championship last season, his efforts so far this season have combined with a 7-4 start in the 2024-25 Regular Season. The Greens, guided by Ergin Ataman, are tied with three more teams in fifth place in the standings.
The team coached by Zeljko Obradovic sits in 14th place, behind a 3-8 W-L tally, two games behind the Play-In Showdown zone, and four games away from a direct ticket to the 2025 Playoffs.
With 13 outings remaining in the 34-game double-legged round-robin schedule, there is plenty of room for changes on the EuroLeague table.
