Coming off an illness, Evan Fournier has been cleared to play for Olympiacos in Round 12 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season.

The 32-year-old French guard was initially considered questionable to face Partizan Mozzart Bet in Belgrade Arena due to an illness.

So far in Europe’s premier club continental competition, the Paris native started all 11 outings of the team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas. Packing 14.1 points per game with 50.9% from inside the arc and 40.3% from three-point range, he is among the key players in an 8-3 start. He has scored in double-digits in seven of the last eight games.

“He was in the hospital yesterday with stomach pain,” noted Bartzokas, “We’ll see his condition in the afternoon practice.”

Heading to Round 12, Olympiacos is tied for second, one game behind leader Fenerbahce Beko. Recovering from an injury in his left thigh, Tyler Dorsey will return to action. Sidelined for two weeks, his last appearance was in Round 10 versus Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in Belgrade’s Aleksandar Nikolic Hall.

In contrast, Moses Wright (illness) will miss the next game. Stuck on the injury list, Sasha Vezenkov (left big toe) and Keenan Evans (knee surgery) remain sidelined.

For the team coached by Zeljko Obradovic, Vanja Marinkovic (back) and Mario Nakic (ankle) have been on the injury list through recent games and are questionable to play against the Greek powerhouse. At 3-8, the Belgrade outfit is two games away from the Play-In Showdown zone.
