Euroleague Fantasy: Fournier… or not Fournier?

By Dimitris Minaretzis/ info@eurohoops.net

Last week, we were forced to sell the top player in EuroLeague Fantasy, Sasha Vezenkov, replacing him with Alec Peters, as he was (and still is) injured.

Did we win? Absolutely!

We got a player for half the price of Sasha, who gave us 15.40 points, and with the extra savings, we managed to add a valuable guard and hit two birds with one stone.

This week, we find ourselves facing a similar situation, though slightly different.

Should we sell Evan Fournier or not?

Here’s the dilemma…

The French superstar had been in our roster for quite some time, justifying our decision.

But, Fournier hasn’t practiced in the past few days due to an illness. He did travel to Belgrade for Olympiacos’ game against Partizan, but coach Bartzokas himself revealed that his participation is not guaranteed.

Will you take the risk?

We decided to leave one “eternal” star player – and a well-performing one at that – for another from the opposing “camp,” the also “hot” Kendrick Nunn.

Their prices are about the same (Nunn is a little more expensive), their performance is similar, and we believe it would be better for you to swap Fournier this week and bring him back into your roster later.

It goes without saying that we’re keeping Peters (since Vezenkov isn’t playing), and our bet on the “hot” Filip Petrusev will remain.

We recommend you pick him up even now that he’s at 9.4 points. We managed to grab him when he was under 8…
