Following a stint on the injury list of Fenerbahce Beko for nearly three weeks, Wade Baldwin IV rejoined his teammates in practices.
The team based in Istanbul updated the status of the explosive guard on Thursday, heading to Round 12 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season and the clash with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in Ulker Sports Arena on Friday night.
Baldwin, 28, was ruled out for approximately three to four weeks with a hamstring injury on November 11, as reported by Eurohoops. Beating the timetable by a slight margin, he resumed training and became available for head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius.
Before the injury setback, he tallied 10.1 points, 4.0 assists, 2.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.2 blocks per EuroLeague contest over eight appearances, all starts. Over two games played in the 2024-25 Regular Season of the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi, he had 4.0 points, 3.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.5 steals per contest.
Except for Devon Hall recovering from surgery in his left hand and Scottie Wilbekin coming off surgery in his right knee, the remaining players are available for Fener. With Leandro Bolmaro (left thigh) and Josh Nebo (right arm) out, the rest of the players, including newcomer Freddie Gillespie, are eligible for the Italian club.
Entering Round 12, the Turkish club leads the EuroLeague behind a 9-2 W-L tally. At 5-6, Ettore Messina’s Scarpette Rosse is tied with two other teams at the bottom end of the Play-In Showdown zone.
