Everyone expected a fight in Belgrade, but still, when all was said and done, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet got an unexpected big win over Bayern Munich.
The game ended up being a one-sided affair with Filip Petrusev scoring 25 points, Mika Daum adding 16 and Ognjen Dobric having 15.
The final score was 101-77, as Bayern dropped to the third spot of the standings with an 8-4 record and simply was unable to defend with the hosts shooting 70% in threes and climbing to a 6-6 record.
Devin Booker with 14 points and Onuralp Bitim with 13 were Bayern’s top scorers.

Playing at home, Zvezda set the tone in the first half, leading 25-19 after the first period and 50-42 at halftime. Bayern tied the score at 28, but that was the last time they managed to do it.
Petrusev scored 23 points in 14 minutes of action and pushed the lead of the Serbs to 55-42 in the first minute of the third period as Zvezda’s dominance couldn’t be denied.
The hosts’ partial score for the third period was 29-10 and they entered the last period with a score of 79-52.
Their lead jumped to 32 points (99-67) and Bayern couldn’t react.
