Partizan defeated Olympiacos in Round 12 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, but a scuffle broke out on the court after the game. Olympiacos head coach Georgios Bartzokas accused one of Partizan’s assistant coaches of verbally abusing the Olympiacos bench during the game. He also claimed that a Partizan fan pushed him after the final buzzer.

The Belgrade club announced that the fan who made contact with the Olympiacos coach has been banned from attending Partizan games until the end of the season and permanently barred from sitting in courtside seats.

Partizan also issued several other sanctions for fans who entered the court or threw objects.

KK Partizan Mozzart Bet is unconditionally opposed to any form of abuse, object throwing onto the court, or unauthorized entry onto the playing area by individuals who have no place there. Therefore, immediately following the game against Olympiacos, an investigation was launched, which has largely been concluded. Efforts are still underway to identify a small number of individuals who, based on security camera footage, were seen throwing objects onto the court.

The sanctions imposed by KK Partizan Mozzart Bet against the identified individuals are as follows:

  1. A ban on attending KK Partizan games until the end of the season for the individual who entered the court after the game and made slight, direct contact with the opposing team’s coach. This individual has also been permanently banned from sitting in courtside seats.
  2. A three-game ban on attending KK Partizan games for the individual who entered the court after the game ended.
  3. A one-game ban on attending KK Partizan games for the individual who repeatedly engaged in verbal altercations with opponents and referees from a first-row seat near the scorers’ table.
  4. A final warning issued to the individual who, from a second-row seat near the scorers’ table, engaged in a single verbal altercation with opponents.
  5. Revocation of season tickets for two individuals identified through security camera footage as having thrown objects onto the court.
