Following a narrow win for Panathinaikos Aktor on Tuesday night, Kendrick Nunn went into recent praise by Giorgos Printezis.
“He might be the greatest talent to ever come to Greece,” mentioned the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague legend, a two-time champion with Olympiacos.
“Big gratitude to him. It’s an honor to be labeled as that. I just continue to work hard and give everything I have to the game,” Nunn replied to a question by Eurohoops regarding the ranking shared by Printezis during an appearance on the YouTube show, Getting to Know, hosted by Baskonia‘s Chima Moneke.
Before fouling out late in the fourth quarter against FC Barcelona in OAKA Altion, the 29-year-old guard set his EuroLeague high at 29 points, including multiple buzzer-beaters.
“Nothing was luck. It was all preparation and skill,” he commented on successful efforts with time running out.
Moving to the bottom end of a two-game week in Europe’s premier club continental competition, the Greens face Partizan Mozzart Bet in Belgrade Arena on Thursday.
