Olympiacos may be without Moustapha Fall in the next EuroLeague game

Olympiacos Piraeus center Moustapha Fall could be dealing with problem in his foot ahead of the upcoming EuroLeague game vs. standings leader Paris Basketball Friday (5/12).

“Maybe Moustapha Fall has a problem now with his foot,” Olympiacos coach Giorgos Bartzokas said after the win of his team over AS Monaco ont eh road. “We will see tomorrow. Hopefully, we’ll have all players available on Friday’s game.”

Fall spent 17:08 vs. Monaco, posting three rebounds and three assists. He didn’t take any shots.

Bartzokas also commended his superstar forward Sasha Vezenkov for playing despite an illness. The Bulgarian player 14 points, six rebounds and the dagger from long range that more or less sealed the win for Olympiacos.

He also had to exit the game temporarily after he collided with Jordan Loyd’s head while fighting for a loose ball. His eye was blackened as a result.

“Sasha had amygdalitis,” Bartzokas said. “He had a problem with his neck. He started taking antibiotics. During the game he was hit in the eye but was important for us. Everyone knows how important he is I really.
