An injury will force Moustapha Fall to miss a second consecutive team outing for Olympiacos in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
The 32-year-old French center fell shy of being medically cleared to reinforce the Greek club in a clash against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet in Belgrade Arena on Friday.
Dealing with an adductor strain, he sat out Round 14 of the Regular Season. With limited options in the paint connected to his absence, the Reds fell to Paris last Friday. Fall also missed the domestic encounter with Kolossos H Hotels in Round 9 of the Stoiximan GBL Regular Season but his side prevailed in Rhodes.
Before the setback in Round 13 against AS Monaco, the Paris native was a starter in nine out of his 12 appearances in the 2024-25 installment of the EuroLeague. He tallied 5.1 points and 2.2 assists steals per contest.
Besides Keenan Evans and Moses Wright remaining sidelined for the team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas, newcomer Nathan Mensah has not yet been registered to debut in Europe’s premier club continental competition.
For the team guided by former Olympiacos Giannis Sfairopoulos, Filip Petrusev is ineligible to play due to a clause in the loan deal sending him from the Greek to the Serbian outfit. Stuck on the injury list, Joel Bolomboy and recent signing John Brown III are also unavailable.
Before Round 15, Olympiacos is tied for third in the standings with a 9-5 record and Zvezda is tied for tenth with a 7-7 display.
