Panathinaikos Athens guard Lorenzo Brown and forward Ioannis Papapetrou won’t be joining their team in the Greek League match at Lavrio BC  Sunday, ahead of the new double-game week in EuroLeague.

Brown returned from Istanbul and the game vs. Anadolu Efes with a muscle spasm in his left femoral bicep. Papapetrou is hospitalized with illness.

Panathinaikos will look to extend its undefeated winning streak in the Greek League at Lavrio before two important EuroLeague games against red-hot Olimpia Milano Wednesday (18/12) and Baskonia (20/12). The Greens are coming off a blowout loss to Efes that dropped them to 8 – 7 after four defeats over the last five matches.

Brown is averaging 8.3 points, 3.4 assists and 2.4 rebounds over 19:12 in the EuroLeague while Papapetrou is posting 4.0 points and 1.6 rebounds in 13:36.
