After serving a one-game suspension and missing the most recent outing of Panathinaikos Aktor in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Kendrick Nunn was limited to 17 minutes in Round 10 of Greece’s Stoiximan GBL on Sunday night.
He did not return against Lavrio DHI after hurting his right ankle.
Before exiting, the 29-year-old guard put in eight points, three assists, two rebounds, and one steal.
Heading to the next two-game week in the EuroLeague Regular Season, Nunn will undergo medical tests.
“The doctor told me it’s not very serious,” mentioned head coach Ergin Ataman during a postgame interview with Greek public television, ERT, “We will see tomorrow if he will be ready for this double-week.”
After improving to 10-0 in the domestic league, the defending EuroLeague champions will host EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Baskonia in OAKA Altion on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively. At 8-7, they are part of a four-way tie stretching from the eighth seed to outside the Play-In Showdown zone, while trailing the top six seeds leading directly to the Playoffs by one game.
Before sitting out Round 15 of the Regular Season and a losing effort against Anadolu Efes in Istanbul’s Basketball Development Center, Nunn averaged 18.4 points per contest over 14 appearances in the 2024-25 installment of Europe’s premier club continental competition.
Lorenzo Brown dealing with a left hamstring injury and Ioannis Papapetrou due to an illness were ruled out for the game against Lavrio. Marius Grigonis remains sidelined indefinitely after back surgery.
