At the top of the next double-game week of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, Milos Teodosic and Branko Lazic remain on the injury list of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet.

The 37-year-old point guard is dealing with a hip injury and the 35-year-old guard/forward is out with a back problem. Both players stayed in Belgrade, instead of following their teammates to Istanbul for the Round 16 fixture opposite Anadolu Efes in the Basketball Development Center on Wednesday evening.

Depending on potential progress, Teodosic and Lazic might collect their 12th and ninth appearance in their latest EuroLeague journey at the bottom end of the two-game week. On Friday, the team guided by Giannis Sfairopoulos hosts Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in Belgrade Arena.

Besides the experienced Serbian stars, Florida native John Brown III is in the final part of rehabilitation, working toward his debut with his new team. Coming off a serious shoulder injury, the 32-year-old power forward is a few days into a stint with Zvezda.

The remaining players, including Joel Bolomboy, are available for head coach Sfairopoulos for the matchup against Efes. The 30-year-old center returned to action, recovering from a knee injury, in Round 12 of the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season on Sunday.

The Serbian club is currently tied with Efes at 8-7 at the bottom end of the Play-In Showdown zone. The following clash with Maccabi marks the midway point of the 34-game double-legged round-robin schedule leading to the postseason.
