The brilliant display by Kendrick Nunn against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan was accompanied by an injury.

Heading to Round 17 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, Panathinaikos Aktor head coach Ergin Ataman updated the status of the 29-year-old shooting guard.

“Nunn was dealing with a problem, but I hope he can play tomorrow,” noted Ataman labeling Nunn as questionable to play versus Baskonia on OAKA Altion on Thursday.

Despite dealing with an undisclosed injury, the latest explosion set his career-high at 39 points. The Chicago native tucked in 12/23 field goals, including eight from beyond the arc, leading the Greens to 9-7 with a win at the top of a two-game week in Europe’s premier club continental competition.

Early in the 2023-24 campaign, the veteran of 212 NBA games used his overseas options and joined Panathinaikos. After powering the storied Greek club to the seventh EuroLeague title in team history, he started his second run with 19.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest over 15 appearances.

“I do not know the situation of Papapetrou,” Ataman extended a questionable tag to Ioannis Papapetrou as well. After producing 4.0 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.6 steals per contest over 12 EuroLeague games this season, the 30-year-old forward was ruled out for the game against Olimpia Milan due to illness.

Sidelined with a back injury since late October, Marius Grigonis recently underwent surgery and remains out indefinitely. The remaining players are healthy.
