The meeting between Paris and Fenerbahce Beko has been postponed.

The French club confirmed a peculiar situation leading to the decision to reschedule the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 17 affair.

Per the press release: “Paris Basketball announced that the game scheduled for December 19 against Fenerbahce, as part of the 17th round of the EuroLeague, has been postponed due to an insufficient number of available players in the squad.

The club is working closely with the relevant authorities to set a new date for the game. We thank our supporters for their understanding and loyalty.

Information regarding the rescheduling of this game will be communicated soon.”

Euroleague Basketball also confirmed the decision regarding the fixture initially set to take place in Adidas Arena on Thursday evening.

Per the press release: “The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 17 game between Paris Basketball and Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, scheduled to be played on December 19, has been suspended due to the impossibility of Paris Basketball to have a minimum of eight players included on the Authorization List and fit to play due to injury or illness.

Euroleague Basketball will evaluate with the affected teams the best possible options to reschedule the game. Further information will be released as warranted in the coming days.”

At the completion of the top half of the latest double-game week on the regular-season schedule, Paris ended up in a tie with AS Monaco in first place of the standings at 11-5. At 10-6, Fener is tied with three other teams in third place.
