Partizan coach Željko Obradović, a nine-time European champion, has expressed his support for student protests in Serbia.

In every nation, young people are important. That means students, pupils, and I have no doubts about giving them my support. They want to create a society the way they envision it and have their own demands. In the end, they will be the ones leading this country. Absolute support because if you don’t support youth and young people, who will you support? They have their ideals, they fight for them, and I want them to persevere on that path. To achieve what they want for tomorrow so that everyone feels comfortable. From my side, absolute support for all young people who have such noble goals ahead of them,Obradović said to Sport Klub.

Students in Serbia are protesting after a tragic incident in Novi Sad that led to the loss of 15 lives when a concrete canopy collapsed at the railway station, expressing dissatisfaction with various societal and political issues.

Bogdan Bogdanović also shared his support for the Serbian youth, posting on social media a picture of their massive gathering at Slavija Square in Belgrade.
