Barcelona signed Raul Neto in late November to replace the injured Nicolas Laprovittola, but after two injuries, the club decided to terminate their collaboration with the Brazilian point guard.

As officially announced, both sides mutually agreed to end their contractual relationship after Neto’s second injury, which occurred during the loss to Crvena Zvezda in Round 18 of the EuroLeague.

Neto suffered a hamstring injury in his left thigh, requiring a twelve-week recovery period, prompting Barcelona to make this decision.

Before that, Neto played for the Catalan club only in his debut, scoring five points in El Clásico against Real Madrid, before sustaining an injury in that game as well.
