The game started with Partizan Mozzart Bet jumping to a 17-5 lead and in the end, the score was 98-75 as the hosts simply dominated Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Sterling Brown with 20 points was the top scorer of the winning side, which also got 16 points by Brandon Davies, proving that they are more than dangerous at home.

Still, Partizan’s record is just 9-10, one win away from the 8th spot in the standings, while Maccabi dropped to 5-16 and can’t hope for much more.

As Brown said: “We came out with a lot of energy, we knew they were going to come out playing strong and aggressively. We had to come out and take control of the game. It’s a new year so we had to start it right”.

Tamir Blatt had 16 points for the losing side, which simply wasn’t competitive in Belgrade.

A Partizan party

Partizan set the tone with a stellar 27-12 first quarter and Maccabi finally entered the game in the second period, trimming the lead to nine (37-28).

The hosts weren’t rattled, answering back with seven unanswered points (44-28), starting with a three by Brandon Davis who closed the first half with 13 points.

The halftime score was 48-32 for Partizan, Maccabi had a mountain to climb and they simply couldn’t.

Partizan closed the third period up by 23 (70-47) and the game was over as nothing changed until the final buzzer. On the contrary in the 33rd minute of the game, the lead ballooned to 29 points (77-48) as the hosts put on a show.
