Panathinaikos Athens announced that forward Juancho Hernangomez extended his contract with the team until 2027. The announcement arrived minutes after the Spanish player scored a season-high-tying 16 points, along with seven rebounds to help his team crush Virtus Bologna.
Hernangomez had joined Panathinaikos in 2023 by signing a two-year deal. This is the second contract extension of a Greens player this week after center Mathias Lessort’s renewal with the club until 2028.
This season, Hernangomez is averaging 9.2 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 23 out of 56 from the 3-point line over 19 EuroLeague games.
