Tadas Sedekerskis spent only 19:09 minutes on the court against Crvena Zvezda – he has been averaging 27:15 minutes per game this season – and now the reason has been revealed.

Baskonia announced in a press release the Lithuanian forward had injured himself. “[Tadas Sedekerskis] has suffered a muscle injury in his left leg and is awaiting further development”, the statement says.

“Tests carried out on Tadas Sedekerskis after the match against Crvena Zvezda have confirmed an injury to the adductor muscles of his left thigh. The player is already working on his recovery with the club’s medical services. His progress will determine the date of his return to activity with the team”, it ends.

Thus far in this difficult season for Baskonia, the soon-to-be 27-year-old team’s captain has been averaging 8.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.9 rebounds per game with 60.0% from two and 48.3% from three.
