With Olympiacos preparing for the next challenge in the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, Evan Fournier did not participate in practice on Tuesday due to an illness.

Looking to recover before the clash with FC Bayern Munich in the Peace and Friendship Stadium, SEF, the experienced French swingman is labeled as questionable to play on Friday evening.

Before the Round 20 fixture, Fournier has played in all 19 games of Europe’s premier club continental competition, tallying 15.4 points, 2.7 assists, 1.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest. His efforts combined with the Reds picking up 13 wins over 19 outings. With 15 fixtures remaining in the 34-game double-legged round-robin schedule of the Regular Season, they are tied with AS Monaco on top of the standings.

Fournier, 32, signed with Olympiacos last September. Following 724 appearances in the NBA, spread between the Orlando Magic, Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons, and New York Knicks, he returned to Europe, 12 years after his departure from Poitiers and his selection with the 20th overall pick of the 2012 NBA draft by the Nuggets.

With Moses Wright (illness) ruled out for the rest of the season and Keenan Evans (knee) projected to miss several more weeks before debuting with the Greek club, Naz Mitrou-Long has been dealing with an illness over recent days, forcing him to miss recent action in EuroLeague and Greece’s Stoiximan GBL. The remaining players are healthy and available for head coach Giorgos Bartzokas.
