Following his exit from Karsiyaka, Errick McCollum confirmed his next assignment by completing a midseason move to Fenerbahce Beko.

McCollum, 36, inked a contract for the remainder of the 2024-25 season, the team announced on Friday.

A veteran of 57 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games, the experienced guard resurfaced in Europe’s premier club continental competition. His previous experience is split between Khimki Moscow Region in 2020-21 and Anadolu Efes in 2017-18.

The older brother of CJ McCollum has focused on Europe for most of his professional career. Since 2010, the native of Canton, Ohio, played in Greece, Israel, Turkiye, and Russia. Success was highlighted by being crowned champion and MVP of the 2015-16 edition of the EuroCup with Galatasaray. From the top of the 2022-23 season, he was a member of Karsiyaka.

This season, McCollum averaged 22.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest over six appearances in the Basketball Champions League, and 16.0 points, 5.2 assists, 2.2 rebounds, 0.8 steals, and 0.5 blocks per contest over 12 appearances in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi.

Joining Fener, he meets the team coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius at 12-7 and in fourth place of the EuroLeague standings, with 15 fixtures left in the double-legged round-robin schedule of the Regular Season. Two fixtures shy of the midway point of the 30-game regular-season schedule of the BSL, a 12-1 record tops the table, two wins clear of Tofas, Galatasaray, and Anadolu Efes.
