Devonte’ Graham has emerged as a potential signing for Real Madrid.

Los Blancos are following the case of the 29-year-old point guard, as reported by insider Chema de Lucas on Friday.

The storied club has been scanning the market, focusing on boosting the backcourt of the team coached by Chus Mateo. Graham indeed fits the criteria and would certainly boost the bid for success in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and domestic competitions in Spain.

Coming out of Kansas in 2018, he was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 34th overall pick of the NBA draft. He went on to play in 345 NBA games between the Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Pelicans, and San Antonio Spurs. Limited to the G League from the top of the 2024-25 campaign, he tallied 14.3 points, 4.2 assists, 2.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game over six appearances with the South Bay Lakers.

The current roster for the team based in the capital of Spain includes fellow guards Facundo Campazzo, Andres Feliz, Sergio Llull, and Xavier Rathan-Mayes. Following struggles in the EuroLeague, amounting to a 10-9 W-L tally barely fitting in the Play-In Showdown zone with 15 fixtures remaining in the 34-game double-legged round-robin schedule of the Regular Season, an upgrade seems necessary.

Alberto Abalde, Gabriel Deck, Usman Garuba, Hugo Gonzalez, Mario Hezonja, Serge Ibaka, Dzanan Musa, Eli Ndiaye, and Walter Tavares are also in the senior squad.

Besides the continental league, Madrid is 11-4 in the ACB.
