By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

When the game started Paris seemed capable of winning, but in the end, it was all about Crvena Zvezda.

The Serbs dominated in the second half and ultimately got an 85-69 win.

Isaiah Canaan with 15 points, Codi Miller-McIntire with 14 points, Nemanja Nedovic also with 14, plus Joel Bolomboy with eight points and 15 rebounds led the team effort of Zvezda which started from the defense.

TJ Shorts with 17 points once more led Paris, however, his effort was not enough.

Thanks to this result Zvezda is 5th in the standings with a 12-7 record, while Paris dropped to 11-7, having one game less.

Zvezda taming the French transition

Paris started the game with a 9-0 run and closed the first period leading 25-15. However, the hosts turned things around in the second quarter and the halftime score was all tied at 39.

The game started from scratch and was different with Zvezda taking a 57-51 lead.

The score entering the last period was 57-52 and by tooth and claw the hosts built a ten-point lead (64-54) after a three by Isaiah Canaan.

Still, it was Zvezda’s defense dictating the pace, Paris couldn’t get their usual offensive output and couldn’t match the Serbs’ physicality.

A three by Nemanja Nedovic made the score 72-57 entering the last five minutes the game was over.
