Facing multiple injuries and uncertainties concerning several players, Partizan Mozzart Bet is en route to a two-game week to continue the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague campaign.
Coming off a leg injury in Round 16 of the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season, Frank Ntilikina has been ruled out for the road games against LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne on Tuesday and EA7 Emporio Armani Milan on Thursday. Awaiting medical tests to determine the severity of the injury, he did not travel with the team.
Duane Washington Jr. did not practice on Sunday due to an illness. He will sit out the Round 21 fixture opposite ASVEL in LDLC Arena but might be cleared to play in Round 22, versus Olimpia Milan in Unipol Forum, per Meridian sport.
Another problem for head coach Zeljko Obradovic, Carlik Jones is dealing with passport issues but is expected to travel separately and join his teammates before the game against ASVEL, as reported by Meridian sport.
Besides the latest setbacks, Vanja Marinkovic is still recovering from an Achilles injury as well as Mitar Bosnjakovic from an ankle injury. Both players will remain sidelined through the double-game week.
The positive developments are Aleksej Pokusevski and Isaac Bonga recovering from shoulder and elbow injuries after missing the game against Borac Mozzart on Saturday. Both practiced on Sunday and traveled to France with the team, Meridian sport revealed.
At 9-11, the Belgrade outfit sits two games outside the Play-In Showdown zone of the EuroLeague.
