Thomas Walkup and Tyler Dorsey have been ruled out by Olympiacos for the next two team outings in the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season.

Entering the next double-game week of the continental schedule, the team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas takes on Baskonia in Fernando Buesa Arena on Tuesday and Real Madrid in Movistar Arena on Thursday.

Besides Walkup dealing with a back injury and Dorsey missing the trip to Spain due to illness, Moses Wright (illness) is projected as out for the rest of the season and Keenan Evans (knee) remains sidelined.

Walkup, 32, rarely misses games with Olympiacos but will sit out the next two EuroLeague fixtures after putting up 4.6 points, 4.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per contest through the first 20 rounds of the Regular Season. Bartzokas had listed him as extremely doubtful on Sunday, following a win against Karditsa Iaponiki in Round 14 of the Stoiximan GBL Regular Season.

Dorsey, 28, has already missed six games this season but averaged 3.9 points, 1.1 assists, 0.9 rebounds, and 0.2 steals per contest in the remaining 14 challenges of the Reds.

Before the demanding two-game week, Olympiacos sits alone on top of the EuroLeague standings, one game clear of following Panathinaikos Aktor and AS Monaco, behind a 14-6 W-L tally.

In the domestic league, jumping to 13-1 after defeating Karditsa in the Peace and Friendship Stadium retained a one-game deficit from leader Panathinaikos. Third-placed Promitheas Vikos Cola is five games away.
