Bruno Fernando is closer than ever to jump to Europe with Real Madrid being his preferred destination.
Since the 7th of January, the 26-year-old center has been a free agent, he was linked to Fenerbahce, however per Eurohoops sources, Real Madrid has made progress in the talks with him and his move to Spain is more than possible at this point.
Fernando initially was not eager to leave the US, but this seems to have changed. The deadline for EuroLeague transfers is the 27th of February.
Meanwhile, Panathinaikos is also on the market for a big man after the injury of Omer Yurtseven and Jilson Bango of Zaragoza was a player monitored by the Greek club and also by Fenerbahce.
However, Bango’s contract with Zaragoza doesn’t have a buyout, the demands of the Spanish club for his release per multiple Eurohoops sources are very high and he is not expected to leave the team.
