Real Madrid got the win over Baskonia, however the losing side reacted. As Spanish outlet “Marca” reports, Baskonia sent an official protest for the refereeing decisions in the game and included a video of the disputed calls.

It has to be noted that even if there are calls that can be considered wrong, nothing is expected to change in the result.

Coach Pablo Laso was asked about some of the calls in the press conference after the game and preferred not to comment: “I’m not going to talk, because then it will cost me money. I can’t talk about the refereeing, I prefer that you evaluate it”.

Per “Marca” the disputed plays include noncalls on Luka Samanic and Chima Moneke, a foul called by Trent Forrest on Dzanan Musa that angered Laso and earned him a technical foul for his protests, and an action in which Facundo Campazzo was awarded three free throws after the referees reviewed the video and decided that the Madrid guard was in the act of shooting.
