Real Madrid has reached an agreement with Bruno Fernando, an Angolan center who last played for the Toronto Raptors in the NBA.
As officially confirmed, the deal with the 26-year-old will keep him at the club until the end of the 2025-2026 season.
Having developed at the University of Maryland, Bruno Fernando began his NBA career in 2019, playing for the Atlanta Hawks (in two separate stints), as well as the Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, and Toronto Raptors.
Fernando joins Real Madrid for his first experience in European basketball after six seasons in the NBA. He has made 220 regular season appearances, averaging four points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
