Panathinaikos is facing significant challenges at the center position following injuries to Matthias Lessort (fractured fibula) and Omer Yurtseven (fractured ankle), leaving the team with limited options in the paint.

Currently, Wenyen Gabriel and Kostas Antetokounmpo are the only natural centers available, with additional support coming from power forwards stepping into the role.

Despite the shortage, head coach Ergin Ataman has ruled out any immediate signings to strengthen the roster.

We will continue as we are. We are not thinking about signing a player at this moment,” Ataman stated after a win over Promitheas in Greek League.

EuroLeague teams have until February 26 to sign new players from outside the competition to ensure eligibility, while the deadline for the Greek Basket League is set at the start of the playoffs.
