Jaylen Hoard is set for a stint on the injury list due to a torn hamstring.

Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv updated his status on Wednesday morning.

After reporting pain following a domestic clash with Hapoel Altshuler Shaham Be’er Sheva/Dimona, the 25-year-old forward underwent an MRI which revealed a torn hamstring. He is expected to be sidelined for two to four weeks.

In Round 15 of Israel’s Winner League Regular Season, Hoard tallied 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists, helping his side improve to 13-2 and retain a narrow lead in the standings. He averaged 13.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest over 13 appearances in the 2024-25 edition of Israel’s top-tier division, besides tallying 15.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest in the ongoing campaign of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, logging 23 games played, including 21 starts for head coach Oded Kattash.

Between 2019 and 2022, the Le Havre native played in 42 NBA games with the Portland Trail Blazers and the Oklahoma City Thunder, before moving to Hapoel Tel Aviv for the next two years and switching to the fellow Tel Aviv outfit last July.

The remaining players are available, heading to Round 24 of the EuroLeague’s Regular Season and a meeting with ALBA Berlin in Belgrade’s Aleksandar Nikolic Hall. At 6-17 and with 11 fixtures remaining in the double-legged round-robin schedule, Maccabi is six games away from a spot in the Play-In Showdown zone.
