Lonnie Walker IV will finish 2024-25 in Lithuania with Zalgiris Kaunas and won’t be returning to the NBA this season, his agent told Marc Stein.
Walker’s contract with Zalgiris includes an NBA buyout that expired on February 18. His plan is to make his NBA comeback in the following season.
So far in the 2024-25 EuroLeague, Walker averages 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 22:17 minutes over 19 games. He has 12.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 17:23 minutes through 10 Lithuanian League appearances.
Zalgiris is tied for 12th in the standings in the EuroLeague at 12-14. The team is 16-12 and first in the standings in LKL
Walker, 26, played 324 games in the NBA over six years before signing with Zalgiris. He was the 18th overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft.
