Moving from the 2025 Frecciarossa Final Eight, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan will miss Leandro Bolmaro for at least two weeks.
Scarpette Rosse updated the status of the 24-year-old combo guard on Wednesday.
Per the press release: “During the second half of the Italian Cup championship game, Leandro Bolmaro reported a partial dislocation of the acromioclavicular joint of the right shoulder. The injury will be re-evaluated in two weeks.”
Heading into an international break reduces the impact of the latest injury setback for the team coached by Ettore Messina throughout the 2024-25 campaigns in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and domestic competitions in Italy.
Action resumes next Thursday, against AS Monaco in Unipol Forum. Besides Bolmaro, Josh Nebo (right arm) will be on the injury list for Round 27 of the EuroLeague Regular Season.
The contributions of the Argentine-Italian guard to a 14-12 record in the EuroLeague amount to 7.4 points, 3.4 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 0.2 blocks over 20 appearances, including 16 starts. With eight games left in the Regular Season, his side sits tenth, at the bottom end of the Play-In Showdown zone.
An international player with Argentina, Bolmaro is a veteran of 49 NBA games, spread between the Utah Jazz in 2022-23 and the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2022-23. In Europe’s premier club continental competition, he went from two years with FC Barcelona in 2019-20 and 2020-21 to FC Bayern Munich in 2023-24, before joining Olimpia Milan for the 2024-25 season.
