On Friday night, after the last Greek derby, photos were released in which Panathinaikos star Kendrick Nunn appeared to be making an obscene gesture inside the Peace and Friendship Stadium, something that was not seen during the match.
It was eventually confirmed that Nunn had momentarily made the well-known gesture with his middle fingers, and a relevant video proves it.
The incident occurred after the player was dunked, two minutes before the end of the third period, with the score 58-48 in favor of Olympiacos.
Per Eurohoops sources, with the incident now confirmed, Olympiacos is preparing to file a relevant complaint with the EuroLeague, requesting that Nunn be punished based on the league’s disciplinary regulations.
The development of the case and Nan’s possible punishment will depend on the competition’s independent sports judge.
