Freddie Gillespie is officially labeled as a game-time decision for EA7 Emporio Armani Milan heading to a clash with Paris in Adidas Arena on Tuesday night.

Less than two weeks after a scary head injury in Round 28 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, the 27-year-old center has been medically cleared by Scarpette Rosse and might play in the opener of Round 30. On Monday, he traveled with his teammates to the capital of France and a potential participation in the next continental challenge will be decided before the game.

“We are happy that Freddie Gillespie, regardless of his ability to play in Paris, has been recovered with no further consequence after his terrifying hit during the Fenerbahce game,” noted the experienced head coach of the defending champions in Italy, Ettore Messina.

In a battle for a spot in the 2025 Playoffs, Nikola Mirotic is expected to continue playing through hip soreness. Also, Nenad Dimitrijevic is projected to be available after dealing with an illness. Both players also missed Round 22 of the LBA UnipolSai Regular Season. In contrast, Josh Nebo remains sidelined, rehabbing a right arm injury.

“We face one of the surprise teams of the competition, well coached and organized by Coach Tiago Splitter, a team capable to play very uptempo, especially at home,” Messina previewed the meeting with Paris, “It will be crucial to produce a good shot selection to have a better transition defense.”

With five fixtures left in the regular-season schedule, Olimpia Milan is tied with Paris and two other teams at 16-13 and in sixth place of the standings, the lowest seed awarding a direct ticket to the Playoffs.
