Several fines on Panathinaikos Aktor were announced by Euroleague Basketball on Thursday.
The incidents concern Round 29 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, including Kendrick Nunn making an obscene gesture during the latest meeting of the Greens with archrival Olympiacos in the Peace and Friendship Stadium.
In addition to the 29-year-old guard, head coach Ergin Ataman, majority shareholder Dimitris Giannakopoulos, and Panathinaikos were sanctioned with fines for postgame statements and posts.
Coach Ataman commented on the fine imposed by Euroleague: “I am one of the sponsors of the league. I hope they find a better sponsor to cover this entire budget. I will pay my fine but it would be good for the EuroLeague to find something better, because the NBA is always waiting on them and they should be affraid”.
