Riccardo Visconti joined Coviran Granada for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

On Monday, he was released from his contract with Virtus Segafredo Bologna and officially added to the roster of the ACB club.

Playing for Vu Nere, the 26-year-old guard debuted in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. He logged two minutes spread between two games and scored three points in Round 24 of the 2024-25 Regular Season against Fenerbahce Beko. Staying in the LBA UnipolSai for a fifth straight year, the Torino native stepped on the court in five games and averaged 1.6 points per contest.

Back in 2017, he was a member of an LBA championship run with Umana Reyer Venice, before spending the next three years in the lower divisions of Italy. A youth product of Venice, he bounced back in the top flight with two-year stints at Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro and Happy Casa Brindisi, before moving to Bologna to start the current season. Between the Italian League and Cup, he is a veteran of 152 appearances. He also played 27 games in the Basketball Champions League with Brindisi and Venice.

Following a successful career with various junior national teams, the Italian guard was capped at the senior level during the Qualifiers of the FIBA World Cup 2023.

Expanding his career to Spain’s Liga Endesa, Visconti meets Granada in the relegation zone. At 6-18 and with ten games left, the team coached by Pablo Pin is two games away from safety.
