Latvian international joins the Badalona team on loan from Virtus

Virtus Bologna power forward Andrejs Gražulis will finish the season on loan at Joventut Badalona, as officially announced.

Both clubs reported on the deal, which will keep the Latvian international in Badalona until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Gražulis made 21 EuroLeague appearances this season for the Bologna team, averaging five points with 1.4 rebounds, while in Legabasket he played 16 matches, scoring 5.7 points on average.

Raised in Latvia, Gražulis made his professional basketball debut with BK Ventspils, where he played from 2012 to 2017.

He then moved to Italian basketball with Parma Basket. The following year, he returned to his home country, VEF Riga, before signing with Derthona Basket, Pallacanestro Trieste, Aquila Basket Trento, and Virtus Segafredo Bologna, where he made his EuroLeague debut this season.
