Removed from the injury list, Keenan Evans is cleared to debut with Olympiacos.
The 28-year-old combo guard is set to travel with his teammates and suit up for a meeting with ALBA Berlin in Uber Arena.
With two games remaining in the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, a complicated situation for head coach Giorgos Bartzokas is countered by the Texas Tech product returning to action after a serious knee injury prematurely ending his spell with Zalgiris last May. At 22-10, the storied Greek club currently ranks second, sitting on the wrong end of a tiebreaker with fellow leader Fenerbahce Beko.
Moustapha Fall (shoulder), Evan Fournier (ankle), Nikola Milutinov (knee), Luca Vildoza (hamstring), and Thomas Walkup (back) have been ruled out by Olympiacos for the clash with the Albatrosse. It remains unclear whether Evans will reinforce the efforts for a win in the German capital, but he has been placed among the remaining healthy players and will be available for the game on Friday evening.
The Texas native is a veteran of 84 EuroLeague appearances between Zalgiris and Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv. After starting his professional career in the G League, he expanded his career to the Old Continent for the 2019-20 season and joined Maccabi in the top tier of Europe in 2021. After one year with the Yellows, he spent the next two seasons with the team based in Kaunas. Highlights feature domestic titles in Israel and Lithuania, including the 2023 Betsafe LKL championship.
